Communication Skills

         The Department of English is effectively functioning with Professors, Asst. Professors and Lecturers. Though the department is considered to be a fringe Deparment, we have an English Language Laboratory as well as a Career Laboratory which helps enhance the students of III year B.E/B.Tech to develop their Communication.

        Soft Skills which is a part of our curriculum is handled in the Career Lab. It plays a vital role for professional succes; they help one to excel in the workplace and their importance cannot be denied in this age of information and knowledge. Good soft skills -- which are in fact scarce -- in the highly competitive corporate world, will help our students stand out in a milieu of routine job seekers with mediocre skills and talent.

        As part of the I year B.E/B.Tech Program the curriculum is designed in such away that we inculcate the art of Technical Writing among the students. As a result of this, we are proud to say that the students from the vernacular medium get enriched in the spoken and written English
