St.Peter's University

The Department of Electrical And Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1993 with the approval of AICTE with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. It offers undergraduate programme of B.E Electrical And Electronics Engineering. A post graduate course in Power Electronics and Drives with a sanctioned intake of 18 students was started in the year 2004-2005.

The department is continuously monitoring the performance of the students. It has a very good track record of achieving high pass percentage in the University Examinations. Some of our students have got University ranks.

The students of EEE Department are eligible for pursuing the graduate courses in Power Electronics and Drives, Power systems, Control systems, High Voltage Engineering, Electrical machines, VLSI Design, Computer science, Applied Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.

The passed out students have joined for higher studies in Anna University, NIT, IIT and University of Arizona, University of Newyork at Buffalo etc.

After graduation EEE department students can join in IES, NTPC, NLC, State Electricity Boards, Electrical Industries as design Engineers, marketing Engineers as well as in IT industries as Software Engineers.
